The crew that keeps me going strong!
If you didn't already know, triathlon is an EXPENSIVE sport! Not just financially, but physically and emotionally as well. Thankfully, I have some pretty awesome people in my corner. You should check out what they have to offer and tell them I sent you :) None of this would be possible for me without them!
Every Man Jack makes a complete line of simple and affordable men's grooming products. It was founded on the idea of bringing naturally derived formulas to men in masculine, recyclable packaging at an accessible and affordable price. Today, they continue to take steps to bring you the best ingredients and packaging for you and the environment.
MojoFit is a soon to be launched athletics performance company run by brothers Matt and Mark Jacobs (fellow Big Rapids boys!) They're the ones who are supplying me with all my sweet race gear and even casual clothes to just chill in. They are endurance athletes themselves so they know just what endurance athletes need. Matt and Mark are always dropping me a line just to say hey and see how I'm doing. They frequently call me "Superstar", although I'm not sure if I've earned that nickname yet! Sometimes I think these guys believe in me more than I believe in myself. It's great to get in at the ground level with them and I can't wait to see what we have in store!
James is more than a sponsor, he is a friend- one of my best friends. He put together this awesome website for me and takes sweet pics during our photo shoots and while I race! I mean just check out this picture from one of our shoots. Needless to say, we have a little fun while we work too :) I am grateful to have James on my team and I look forward to many more years of teamwork and friendship!
Nick is another good friend and he also just so happens to be an amazing baker! Along with his wife Becca, they make some of the best baked goods I've ever eaten. Not only is his stuff delicious, but it's super healthy too- everything he makes is gluten free and vegan. As a connoisseur of confections, I am pretty picky when it comes to my sweets. But let me tell you, if you didn't know it was healthy for you, you wouldn't even be able to tell! (It's almost like my mom sneaking veggies into my food when I was a kid!) So delicious, yet so nutritious. This is definitely a place you will want to visit for your post-race sweet tooth!
Barb Lindquist is my coach/second mom/talk-me-off-the-ledge person. We started working together less than one year ago and I have already seen huge improvements in my training and racing. Needless to say, she has been instrumental in this process and I owe a TON of my success to her.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention my family. They have been there for me every step of the way and are the original Team Todd supporters. I literally couldn't do any of this without them. From all the encouragement they are constantly giving me, to traveling countless miles just to watch me buzz through transitions for a couple minutes, to dealing with my pre-race food stubborn-ness (but also partaking in my post-race indulgences!), these 3 are the epitome of what it means to be a family. I couldn't have picked a better bunch of weirdos to help me through this journey!
